# Total Assets

## Overview

The total assets under management (AUM) of an investment trust or fund in U.S. dollars. The metric name is prefixed by the ticker symbol of the investment product (e.g. `gbtc_total_assets` for Grayscale's Bitcoin Investment Trust). Total assets reflects the aggregate fair value of all digital assets held by the product.
